Introduction

These Terms of Service (ToS) govern the use of the FinanceCV.fr website and its services. By accessing our site and using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Publisher and seller

The website and its services are published by ExponentIA, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with a share capital of €1,000, registered under number RCS Paris 109 445 585 (SIRET 109 445 585 00010), with its registered office at 15 rue Boulay, 75017 Paris, France. ExponentIA is also the seller of the paid offers available on the website. Email: contact@bulletpoint.fr.

Service Description

FinanceCV offers an online CV generator with artificial intelligence features for creating, translating, reformatting and proofreading professional CVs for the finance and consulting sectors.

User Account

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activities performed under your account.

Data Use and Sharing

Data Collection

We collect and process your personal data (email, name, CV content) to provide our services and improve our platform.

Third-party Sharing

IMPORTANT: By using our services, you consent to the sharing of your anonymized data with third-party partners for market analysis and service improvement purposes. You can withdraw your consent at any time from your profile or by contacting us.

Your Rights

In accordance with GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, object to and port your data.

Credit System

Certain features consume credits. Free credits renew daily. Purchased credits are non-refundable.

CV review by a coach (paid service)

FinanceCV offers two services performed by a coach from its team. The video review (€29) includes: a video in which the coach reviews the CV and corrects it on screen, explaining each change, available through a private link; the corrected CV, in French and in English, added to the user’s CV library and editable afterwards; both versions as PDFs, sent by email with the video link. It is delivered no later than three working days after payment. The live review (€49) includes a 30-minute video call with the coach, during which the CV is corrected, then the corrected CV in French and in English (CV library and PDF by email) with the notes on the corrections. Its slot is picked in the calendar before payment and confirmed by it: a slot booked without payment is cancelled.

The coach works from the CV and the information given in the order form, tailoring it to the target role. They correct form and wording and never make up facts: a figure or an experience is only added if the user provided it. The version in the other language is produced by machine translation, then reviewed by the coach. The user remains solely responsible for the accuracy of their CV. The corrected versions are added to the account as new CVs; the original is left untouched.

Right of withdrawal: by ordering, the user expressly asks for the service to start as soon as payment is made and acknowledges losing their right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed (article L221-28 1° of the French Consumer Code). If the video review is not delivered within the stated time, or if the session does not take place because of FinanceCV, the user is refunded in full on request.

Confidentiality: the CV and the order form are only read by the coach doing the review and are never passed on to a recruiter or any third party.

Intellectual Property

The CVs you create belong to you. The source code, design and algorithms of FinanceCV are protected by copyright.

Limitation of Liability

FinanceCV is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that using our services will result in employment. We disclaim all liability for direct or indirect damages.

Modifications to ToS

We reserve the right to modify these ToS at any time. Modifications take effect upon publication on the site.

Termination

Subscriptions have no commitment. You can cancel at any time from My account → Subscription → "Cancel my subscription". Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current, already paid period: you keep Premium access until then and are not charged again. We may also suspend or terminate your account in case of violation of these ToS.

Applicable Law

These ToS are governed by French law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Paris.
